Random Photos from Dec 08- Feb 09

A very warm day in February, it was 60!

Pretty, pretty princess.

Helping Dad shovel snow...brrrr.

So sleepy, look at those cute cheeks!

Friends for now :)

Overheard

Last night Bern and Amalia were having an interesting conversation...
Amalia: I was just acting goofy.
Dad: I think you're more like Minnie.
Amalia: No dad, I'm A-ma-li-a *she stressed each syllable*

I couldn't help but giggle about that one.

Slacker

Well, I realized that I haven't been doing a great job documenting some of our family moments. I decided that I should add some information. When I pondered the reasons for my poor blogging lately I decided that life just gets crazy sometimes :)

The Male Red Hat Society

Another note about Wisconsin...it seems to bring out the silly side of our boys. The basement had just been finished and the smoke detectors had a protective covering on them to protect them from the dust. The boys pulled them down and had so much fun being silly!

Just Roll'n Around

We went to Hayward, Wisconsin to visit my parents home there for the first time over Christmas break. The kids had a great time playing in the snow and walking on the lake. Owen preferred to hang out inside with Nana and play with blocks and watch Mickey. Matthew and Amalia were quite the arctic trekkers as they headed off across the lake with their father. Somehow I got talked into it as well! We had a great time!

Just What I Wanted!

Christmas Eve we had our family come to our home for the festivities. It was nice to see everyone and have the chance to chat and watch the excitement of the kids at they opened their packages. Matthew is very happy with his present here, no doubt a video game :)

Bouncing Babies

It's always interesting what our children can get up to when we're occupied with one thing or another. Amalia climbed in the bed with Owen and when I heard giggles from down the hallway we went to investigate. This is what naptime looks like at the VW house!
